The Woods Kasauli Homestay

The Woods Kasauli is a quiet, chalet-style homestay built in 1992 in the pine and deodar forest of Mashobra, Old Kasauli – registered with Himachal Tourism. Almost every room looks out over the valley, with sunsets over the hills and the Dhauladhar snow peaks on clear days. Choose from 10 rooms and suites across four levels: cosy rooms with a balcony, family suites with a kitchen and drawing room, a forest-facing room for couples, and road-level rooms with gated parking that suit senior citizens and wheelchair users. Most suites have a kitchenette with fridge, induction and utensils, and basic cooking essentials are complimentary. High-speed WiFi, free parking for 7–8 vehicles (tempo travellers too), power backup, bonfire and barbeque on request, and home-style food can be ordered in. A 40-minute nature trail starts right from the cottage – bring your binoculars for the colourful birds.
