Questions hosts ask
Is there a joining or monthly fee for listing?
No. Listing is free. Our only fee is a 10% commission on stays that happen. Guests who pay at the hotel pay you everything and we bill the commission weekly; when a guest pays a deposit online instead, that deposit is our commission.
How do I get paid?
The guest pays you at the property – cash, UPI or card. If you ask an advance, the guest pays it online after you confirm; we hold it for you and pay it out with your booking statement.
Can I ask for an advance?
You decide the advance – 0%, 10%, 20% or any amount. After you confirm, the guest has 1 hour to pay it online, or the rooms are released. Once paid, the booking is 100% confirmed, and if the guest doesn't come, you keep the advance (minus our commission). After checkout you get one clear statement for each booking.
What is instant booking?
With “Book now” on, guests are confirmed straight away and you get a WhatsApp alert – no requests to answer, so you win more bookings. Turn it on in Hotel settings after verifying your WhatsApp, for rooms you sell only on Stay in Bharat. If an instant booking can’t be honoured you must rehouse the guest in an equal or better room nearby.

What documents do I need?
A photo ID and a business document (for example GST, trade licence or property proof). You upload them when you register.
What happens if a guest cancels?
Guests can cancel free until 24 hours before check-in; no commission is charged and any deposit is refunded. After that the booking is non-refundable.
Can I still sell on other websites?
Yes. Connect your Booking.com, Airbnb or Google calendar and your availability stays in sync.
What if I keep request to book?
Reply within 1 hours. Requests that are not answered in time expire, so keep WhatsApp and email alerts on.
