Milarepa Mud Home Stay is a traditional Spitian mud house in Kaza, right near Kaza Monastery – warm, simple and full of local character, run by Chhering and his family. The thick mud walls keep the rooms cosy, and the rooms have wooden ceilings, comfortable beds and warm bedding. Guests gather in the traditional Spitian dining hall with low seating and carpets for home-cooked meals. Rooms: • Double rooms with attached bathroom (2) • Triple rooms with attached bathroom (4) • Double rooms with a shared washroom (3) Prices include breakfast and dinner (MAP) – ₹1,500 per person in rooms with attached bathroom and ₹1,200 per person in rooms with a shared washroom. A great base for Key Monastery, Kibber, Langza, Hikkim, Komic, Dhankar and Chandratal.
