7 Pines Homestay is a family-run homestay in Kaza, right beside the National Ice Hockey Ground and a short walk from Kaza market and monastery. At 3,650 metres, every room and the rooftop terrace look straight out at Spiti's peaks – and on clear nights the terrace has one of the best Milky Way views you will ever see. There are mountain-view rooms for couples, families and groups: Pine Corner and Garden Room (king + single bed with private bathroom), the Valley and Deodar rooms that sleep up to five, and a cosy double room. All rooms have a room heater, 24x7 hot water and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi – genuinely fast, even by Spiti standards. Stays are meal-inclusive: breakfast and dinner are cooked fresh in the family kitchen, Spitian style – thukpa, momos, butter tea, thalis and more, with vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options. Evening bonfires can be arranged (weather permitting), and there is a garden, laundry, board and outdoor games, and parking for 6 cars plus bikes. The home is family, senior and pet friendly. Nearby: Key Monastery (~12 km), Chicham Bridge (~17 km), Kibber (~19 km) and Langza (~40 km).
